Background
Provide employees with a biophilic workspace, integrating nature with modern office design.
Inspired by biophilic design principles, which suggest that exposure to nature improves cognitive function, reduces stress, and enhances productivity.
Three interconnected glass domes were constructed using a pentagonal hexecontahedron geometric pattern. The structure consists of:
Steel Framework: 2,643 glass panes supported by a glass-and-steel lattice that maximizes natural light.
Energy-Efficient Glass: Reduces heat gain while maintaining the optimal conditions for plant life inside.
Open-Concept Interior: Lush, multi-level gardens with treehouse-style meeting spaces, suspended bridges, and waterfalls.
Vast indoor rainforest houses over 40,000 plants from more than 30 countries. Key plant species include:
Ficus rubiginosa (The "Rubber Tree" centerpiece, over 50 years old).
Epiphytes, moss walls, and ferns, creating a diverse rainforest ecosystem.
Cloud forest plants thrive in humid, controlled environments.
Environmental responsibility with features such as:
Energy-efficient heating and cooling systems to maintain tropical conditions inside.
Reclaimed water irrigation to sustain plant life.
Natural ventilation strategies that reduce energy use while maintaining air quality.
